About Lexical Computing

We are Lexical Computing, a company operating at the intersection of corpus and computational linguistics. We are based in Brno, Czech Republic, and since 2003, we have been building corpora and developing the Sketch Engine corpus tool, our main product, which is used by dictionary companies, linguists and lexicographers around the world.

We developed a method that leverages the technology of Sketch Engine to automate the dictionary or glossary development process. We call it Dictionary Express, a new cost-effective and efficient approach to building custom dictionaries, tailor-made glossaries and similar lexicographic databases.

We offer the building of the complete dictionaries and other lexical databases, as well as supplying specific lexical data as an automatically generated draft or validated by humans. We are able to do this in 100+ languages.
